Jean-Philippe Mateta (born 28 June 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Crystal Palace.. Mateta began his career with Châteauroux before signing for Ligue 1 side Lyon in 2016. Following a successful loan to second-division side Le Havre, he signed for Bundesliga club Mainz 05 in 2018, before joining Crystal Palace in 2021.
