The protester attempted to self-immolate during a pro-Palestinian rally, and police officers and bystanders rushed to put out the flames.

A man attempted to self-immolate in front of the White House in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. Bystanders quickly poured water on him to extinguish the flames before police arrived. He suffered superficial burns to his arms.
