Marshfield Clinic Health System and Aspirus Health have released the top baby names of 2024. Marshfield Clinic Health System shared information about 2,927 births at its facilities during the 2024 calendar year, with that data excluding its Minocqua hospital. Of the 2,927 births, 1,514 were boys and 1,413 were girls.

The number two and three most popular names for newborn boys in Berks are also the same as the second and third most popular names nationally: Liam and Oliver. For girls in Berks, the top three names weren’t quite a perfect match with the national results.

Other popular boy’s names at Meriter in 2024 were Jack, James, Leo, Liam, Noah, Oliver and Owen. Liam, Noah and Oliver took the top three spots nationally in 2023, while Oliver and Henry joined Theodore atop the state list.
