Lando Norris has survived two brushes with barriers to win the Singapore Grand Prix with ease and cut into Max Verstappen’s Formula 1 standings lead.

Lando Norris wins his third Formula One race of the season, taking the Singapore Grand Prix 20 seconds ahead of Max Verstappen. This narrows the driver championship gap to 50 points, with Verstappen still in the lead.

Lando Norris dominated Formula 1’s Singapore Grand Prix, but Max Verstappen limited the damage in the title race by finishing a distant second, in a soporific encounter under the lights around the streets of Marina Bay. Just seven cars finished on the lead lap, and only two challengers finished within one minute of race-winner Norris.
