The former Las Vegas Aces assistant addressed reporters for the first time since being named head coach of the Chicago Sky.

Marsh will lead a young Sky team with stars Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, who will have a second head coach in as many years.

The Chicago Sky have hired a new head coach. Chicago is bringing in Tyler Marsh to lead its team next season, ESPN reported Saturday. Marsh has worked on the Las Vegas Aces’ staff since 2022 as the an assistant coach and the team’s head of player development.

Shortly after the Sky's announcement, Chicago star Angel Reese posted a subtle message that could certainly be tied with the news. "W." Reese said. The WNBA star will likely be a major part of Marsh's game plan with the Sky, alongside a couple of other Chicago stars like Chennedy Carter and Kamilla Cardoso.

CHICAGO (November 3, 2024) — The Chicago Sky have named Tyler Marsh as the franchise’s head coach, the team announced today.

The Chicago Sky recently named Tyler Marsh the head coach of the organization, following the firing of Teresa Weatherspoon. A few weeks after Marsh's hiring he joined the media for his introductory press conference.

"I’m looking forward to building relationships with our players and throughout our entire organization as we work towards establishing a championship culture on and off the court," the new Chicago Sky head coach Tyler Marsh had stated when he was accepted to the position in early November.
