The son of a Backstreet Boy is competing on season 23 of “American Idol.” Baylee Littrell, whose dad is Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell, auditioned for judges Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie during the Sunday, March 9, episode of the singing competition series.

Baylee Littrell grew up on the road with his dad — he was 8 or 9 when he started opening for the Backstreet Boys with a couple of songs. Now, he’s trying to carve out his own path in music as a country singer.
