There was a time when the Pittsburgh Steelers had built a reputation for their ability to draft wide receivers and turn them into stars. That always felt a little hyperbolic and recent history has told a very different story.

The Pittsburgh Steelers hope to fix the wide receiver room this offseason, and one of the ways they could do it is through the NFL Draft. In Mel Kiper’s first mock draft, the Steelers selected Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka to fix that room.

The Pittsburgh Steelers should be expected to make some aggressive offseason moves in 2025. It was clear the team lacked talent at times during the 2024 season, and another first-round exit from the postseason should make the front office search for talent that could take the team to the next level.
