The Chicago Bears are focusing on more than just their head coaching search, with scouts and front office executives doing their NFL draft homework on the college football all-star circuit.

In a new 2025 NFL mock draft, the Bears forgo the offensive line to land one of the top playmakers in the draft at 10th overall.

With the Chicago Bears’ season having come to a close, there’s no better time for a mock draft. The 2024-25 season ended in disappointing fashion for Chicago, having gone 5-12 in a season that was expected to see them compete for a playoff spot.

While most Chicago Bears fans prefer GM Ryan Poles to focus on the offensive or defensive line in the NFL Draft, this new 2025 mock draft takes a totally different direction.

Luckily, the Bears are in a prime position to address the trenches, as well as other areas of need, with $73 million in salary cap space, per Spotrac, and four picks in the Top 75 of the 2025 NFL draft.
