Netflix has announced the new movies and TV shows arriving in October 2024. Between new shows, popular returning series, original and licensed movies and more, there's a good mix of content coming to the popular streaming service this month that you won't want to miss.

There's a lot on Netflix's October release schedule, but it's easy to pinpoint the one that will have the biggest impact on my social media feeds: Super queer teen romance series Heartstopper, based on the graphic novel series, returns for its third season on Oct. 3.

Each month the best streaming services remove a handful of movies and shows to make room for new titles, and while it's exciting to see everything new on Netflix in October, it means that we must keep an eye on the titles that are set to leave next month.
