Minneapolis police say they have a plan to crackdown on crime following a second violent and deadly weekend downtown. On Saturday, a crowd of at least a hundred young people had scattered as Minneapolis police processed the scene where two young men were shot and killed.

Two men are dead after a mass shooting in downtown Minneapolis that also left two teenage girls and a woman with gunshot wounds. Minneapolis Police Department says multiple fights broke out near the intersection of 5th Street South and Hennepin Avenue – an area home to several bars and nightclubs – shortly before 2 a.m., with gunfire then erupting.

Chief O'Hara said he is taking a closer look at downtown vendor licensing, the possibility that alcohol is being sold to minors, and the teens' curfews.
