Authorities Monday publicly identified a man who was shot to death over the weekend in a neighborhood near the junction of state Route 94 and SR-125.

Anthony Trujillo, a Lemon Grove resident, was found lying in Kunkel Park shortly after 12:40 p.m. suffering from a gunshot wound. The Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy and determined he had been shot in the neck, homicide Lt. Michael Krugh said in a statement.
