Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green will miss at least a week with a strained left calf. The Warriors said Monday that an MRI determined that Green has only a minor strain and he will be re-evaluated in one week.

In Green’s absence, Gui Santos started the second half, but the stint was brief. Moses Moody entered three minutes into the third quarter and, for a second straight game, logged a bulk of the team’s minutes at the power forward spot.

Draymond Green is the emotional leader of the Golden State Warriors roster. The veteran forward is relied upon to set a tone, both on the court and in the locker room. His experience as a four-time NBA champion and former Defensive Player of the Year is invaluable;

Green had just returned from a three-game absence due to illness and a back issue when he hobbled off the floor and went back to the locker room three minutes into the game.
