U.S. military officials are not saying where and when the attacks against American forces in Syria took place.

The US military announced early Wednesday that it carried out strikes against Iran-aligned militia groups in Syria for the second consecutive day in response to a rocket attack on a base housing American troops in Kurdish-held northeast Syria (Rojava).
