Reportedly, the PCB has slashed match fees of players in the National T20 Championship from 100,000 Pakistani Rupees per match to 10,000 rupees per match. Reserve players will now get 5,000 rupees per match. Despite these cuts and unpaid dues from last season, PCB administrators continue to draw high salaries.

It is understood that the fees are expected to go back up to the previous edition's sum of PKR 40,000 per match

Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has taken immediate notice of the reduction in match fees for domestic cricketers participating in the National T20 tournament, directing officials to maintain the existing compensation structure.
