Ahold Delhaize USA said it recently detected a cybersecurity issue within its US network. "Immediately upon detecting the issue, our security teams began an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity experts," the company said.

Stop & Shop supermarkets across the state have bare shelves due to a cybersecurity issue. “A lot of the shelves were empty, a lot of staples too,” Hamden resident Michael Montefusco said. Shelf after shelf were bare causing customers like Montefusco to cut his grocery list short.
