The Los Angeles Rams sat many starters on Sunday. This allowed veteran QB Jimmy Garoppolo a chance to prove himself.

The Rams lost to the Seattle Seahawks 30-25 on Sunday, knocking them down to the No. 4 seed in the NFC side of the playoffs. The No. 3 Buccaneers are now set to face the Washington Commanders in the wild-card round, while the Rams will be saddled with the loser of the "Sunday Night Football" clash between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings.

After several years as the long time starter with the San Francisco 49ers, Garoppolo has been relegated to the bench for the last two seasons. After being benched and released by the Las Vegas Raiders, “Jimmy G” found his way to the Rams, where he became Matt Stafford’s backup.
