At least 16 people have died across the Los Angeles area in the wildfires. Officials have said the true death toll is not known as the fires continue to burn.

There are three active fires: Palisades Fire, Eaton Fire, and Hurst Fire, according to Cal Fire. There are no evacuation orders in place now for Hurst Fire, and it is 89% contained. Concerning the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire, the following areas are under mandatory evacuation orders.
