The Denver Nuggets have had a great 2024-25 season thus far with a 28-17 record through 45 games but suffered a crushing loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday in a second-round playoffs matchup from last year.

Before joining Denver, Westbrook spent the last three seasons playing in his hometown of Los Angeles, California. Appearing in 130 games for the Los Angeles Lakers, Westbrook was traded to the Utah Jazz in February, 2023 before agreeing to a buyout and joining the LA Clippers.

Russell Westbrook finished the loss with 13 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals while shooting 6/10 from the field and 0/3 from the three-point range (he also had four turnovers). Many people reacted to his performance on social media.

Joker is averaging 14.9 boards per game in January, and he’s had 13 or more in five of his past six contests. With Gobert and Julius Randle giving the Timberwolves a strong one-two punch on the glass, Jokic will need to bring his A-game here.
