A Webster man is facing a number of charges, including drug trafficking and animal cruelty, after breaking into the town animal shelter Monday afternoon. Police officers were called to the shelter on South Main Street just before 4 p.

A Webster man who allegedly broke into an animal shelter to retrieve his dogs is facing charges after police found meth in is vehicle, police say.

The Webster Police Department was called to the Webster Animal Shelter by a Webster Police Animal Control officer after the officer reported a man had broken into the shelter and was attempting to take his dogs.
