TORONTO -- Auston Matthews scored for the fourth straight game and had an assist for the Toronto Maple Leafs in a 5-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Scotiabank Arena on Monday. The goal was Matthews’ eighth in nine games since his return after missing the previous six because of an upper-body injury.

The Toronto Maple Leafs took on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday (Jan. 20) as they looked to come away with another win. They were coming off of a massive comeback victory over the Montreal Canadiens where they picked up a 7-3 win,

Matthew Knies had two goals and an assist as the Toronto Maple Leafs held on late to down the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-3 on Monday night.

Pacioretty will be absent due to an upper-body injury that he sustained after taking a shot to the side of the head in Saturday's 7-3 comeback win against the Montreal Canadiens. He was however able to finish the game, logging 10:13 in ice time.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Connor Dewar did not take part in the club's practice and will not be in the lineup for his team hosts the Columbus Blue Jackets on Wednesday, either. The forward sustained an upper-body injury in Toronto's 5-3 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
