Inside a mostly subdued Seattle Seahawks locker room, soundtracked mostly by private conversations among players in small scrums, Geno Smith sat alone at his stall, shirtless, staring blankly into space while processing what just unfolded on Sunday afternoon at Lumen Field.

Geno Smith stepped to the podium with an apology following Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Rams. "I really feel like I let everybody down today," the Seahawks QB said. "I really do."
