Director General of the Israeli Defense Ministry Eyal Zamir said Monday that he will resign, a few days after the sacking of former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Zamir met with new Defense Minister Israel Katz and requested to resign, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
