Zendaya’s look was a fashion history lesson, referencing Zelda Wynn Valdes. Valdes was a designer who is credited with designing the Playboy costume and dressed the likes of Joyce Bryant. Zendaya’s hair seemed to also be a reference to Joyce Bryant’s signature style.

Zendaya chose Louis Vuitton for her Golden Globes 2025 appearance on Sunday in Los Angeles. Her look, custom-made by Nicolas Ghesquière, featured a silky tangerine fabric and a classic ballgown silhouette.
