The New York Jets (4-12) move forward into the final stages of their 2024 NFL schedule with a 40-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. Following the defeat, as is always the case, we were taught a few things about this football team.

The New York Jets certainly look like a team that is ready for the 2024 season to come to a close. Eliminated from the postseason for a 14th consecutive year weeks ago, the team has been playing out the string.

For Phillips, it was his first interception since 2016 when he played for the Dolphins in a game against the Jets. And for the Bills, counting the two interceptions by DT Austin Johnson earlier this season, that makes three for the defensive tackles, the most that position group has had for any NFL team since the Dolphins had three in 2011.
