Acclaimed TV filmmaker, Hiro Murai, is ready to make the leap to feature filmmaking with the upcoming samurai film, "Bushido."

A24 has a knack for scooping up talent. The production company is also famous for taking risks and leading many firsts in the film industry. Their bold behavior doesn't seem to be changing, with projects like the second film by the divisive director of the analog horror film Skinamarink in the works.

A24 has announced today that it is working on a new samurai epic, Bushido, with Hiro Murai, marking the director’s feature debut. The film is a collaboration with A24, Square Peg and 2AM, with the former financing and producing the original samurai film.
