The insurance company tabbed Morgan Stanley veteran Jacques Chappuis to succeed David Hunt at the helm of the Prudential’s $1.4 trillion investment-management business.

Prudential Financial (PFG) named former co-head of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Jacques Chappuis, to lead its PGIM asset management business, which has $1.4T in assets under management.

Jacques Chappuis will take the helm of the Prudential Financial asset management unit on May 1, 2025, replacing David Hunt.

PGIM appointed Morgan Stanley’s Jacques Chappuis as chief executive officer to succeed David Hunt, who’s leaving after 13 years in the job.
