The Edmonton Oilers return to action with a matinee game against a Pacific Division rival in the Los Angeles Kings. My Oilers vs. Kings predictions see two of the top teams in the West flexing their muscles defensively in a competitive, low-scoring affair.

On Saturday night, the Los Angeles Lakers will host the Sacramento Kings. Before the game, the Lakers assigned Maxwell Lewis and Bronny James to the South Bay Lakers (G League). South Bay is playing the Cleveland Charge (in Ohio) on Friday and Saturday.

Sacramento will try to break its five-game losing streak when the Kings play Los Angeles. The teams play Saturday for the first time this season.

The Los Angeles Lakers are back at Golden 1 Center to face the Sacramento Kings for their second matchup in just three days. Both teams are hovering near the bottom of their conference. The Lakers are 15-12, which puts them in seventh place. The Kings are 13-15 and in 12th place.

If the playoffs were to start today, the Los Angeles Kings would face the Edmonton Oilers in the first round for the fourth year in a row. The Kings took the Oilers to a Game 7 in 2022 but were shutout 2-0 in that final contest.
