A father of two, and an Episcopal graduate were among the 14 people killed in a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street.

Reggie Hunter and his cousin were both hit by a truck driven at a high rate of speed down Bourbon Street at around 3:15 a.m. Hunter died from his injuries. His cousin was among at least 35 people injured in the attack.

BRPD said that a vehicle yielded to the officer’s lights. However, as the officer attempted to go around the stopped vehicle, the driver turned left, resulting in a T-bone collision.

A woman and her 14-year-old granddaughter were shot and injured Thursday, Baton Rouge Police said. Officers responding to reports of a shooting shortly after 5 p.m., in the 5500 block of St. Gerard Avenue, found both of the shooting victims.
