Someone told me you can buy souvenir mugs with wine in - is this true?

We were there last July first and we had beer in plastic cups that had the Chicago Logo on them since this is what we were seeing. I’m not sure about a “Mug”, but plastic glasses for sure. The bar is spendy so if you are going to do some serious drinking I’d do most of it outside the theater!
We are going to see Chicago at the Ambassador. We can get tickets, first row, center, front mezzanine. We are wondering if there is a railing that you have to look over. Is the railing going to obstruct the view of the stage?

We were behind a railing but it is low with a curtain attached so your legs could go under for extra room
