Easily accessible by road or walk. Reasonably priced entrance. Regular guided are available but you can navigate yourself with assistance of supplied commentary phones. Full review by Bob S

Agree entirely and you do get the modern version of the 'Roman Army' camping there occasionally. (Ermine Street Guard etc.) Their displays are excellent.
I see on the English heritage website that there are boat trips from sandwich to richborough .Can anyone tell me anymore information or where I might find out.thanks
