WEBJul 8, 2022 · Like most people mentioned, I would recommend you getting a US phone from Samsung, Apple, Google or Oneplus once you arrive here since you will have more options when it comes to carriers, post-sale support and better coverage. Although this is coming from a guy that bought the Xiaomi 12s Ultra last night 😂.

WEBSep 5, 2022 · Simple: Xiaomi phones aren't officially sold in the US. Yes, you can get them imported through 3rd parties, but Xiaomi does not sell in the US directly. So Xiaomi has no real reason to jump through all of AT&Ts hoops to get on their certified list. They barely work on TMobile either. Mi 10TPro.

WEBJul 23, 2023 · Hi, I'm in California and I have 2 Xiaomi phones, new phone Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro. Both work great here, 5G on the newer one without any problems. Just watch out for the operator, Verizon didn't work for me, so I have Metro by T-Mobile, and everything is perfect.

WEBDec 9, 2022 · It's Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro, global version I believe. M1906g7g. I live in Poland and my carrier is Plus and they apparently have an agreement with AT&T and T-Mobile USA, like you can buy a roaming package and instead of Polish Plus it connects you to either of those networks in the USA. WEBThere are only 5 flagship models which are 4G compatible or semi compatible with US networks. Mi 8/9, Mi Mix 2/2s/3. The Mix will work on all main carriers (4g). The Mi 8/9 will work only on ATT and/or Tmobile. All do not have b71.

WEBIt will only work on GSM carriers, no Verizon, for example. Xiaomi phones run Android, as long as you get a Global Version, nothing will be out of the ordinary software-wise. You'll have perfect English support with all the apps and whatnot from the Play store. It's not a trouble to get if you know what you're doing.

WEBMIUI on Xiaomi phones are generally bad, but what I've heard is that their optimisation is better on their flagships (what a surprise) so don't pick Redmi or Poco phones.
