WEBNov 8, 2001 · The reason I always prefer a corporare store is the cancelation fee. If for some reason you decide to cancel your service before the contract expires a dealer usually charges you an early cancelation fee on top of the one T-Mobile charges you.

I started calling it an activation fee when I worked at t-mobile because people got uppity about charging $15 for a piece of plastic (which when described to us, it is an activation fee. $15 to access our wonderful network).
