WEBMay 7, 2018 · When a part is hit, damage is dealt to its armor first. If there is no armor, damage is instead dealt to the part’s structure. Damage to the structure can cause critical hits, which can damage or destroy components and cause ammo explosions. If a part runs out of run structure, it’s destroyed.

WEBJun 29, 2018 · I used to think putting ammo in the head is safest, but in practice many weapons can one-hit your head to red and immediately roll for crit, no MG needed. Given the low structure of head the crit chance won't be too low, and since there is only one slot the crit will always land on the ammo.
